Dearest Duck,

Please do not wait tea for me as I shall be a little late. Miss Goodall has sent to say we must all stay & put everything ready for tomorrow; she won’t let us do it during school hours.__ we all were, but she stopped it. I may only be half an hour or so – you may be sure I shall be home as quickly as possible.
