I am writing to ask your forgiveness for what took place some time ago. I am quite sure that what occurred was brought about by mu own conduct & I am constrained to admit that my course of action was wrong & foolish in the extreme.

I promise you that I will never repeat it & that I will never remove the child from your custody without your knowledge & consent.
